Our long-awaited expansion effort is finally almost complete!
This January 20th marks our grand opening in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.. We’re excited to augment our successful Sarasota location with yet another first-class sushi and Hibachi restaurant. Of course, we invite you to help open it in style by joining us in person, or for a delightful takeout meal.
New Lakewood Ranch Location – A Long Time Coming
As this recent Your Observer report puts it, we’ve been through every calamity imaginable en route to opening this new sushi joint. However, even the pandemic chaos, alligators, and hurricanes weren’t enough to deter us.
Those difficulties set us back a lot (an entire year to be exact), but now we’re ready to launch our second Japanese sushi restaurant. This sizable new facility will seat roughly double the guests as our Sarasota spot, sacrificing none of the traditional menu items you’ve come to love from us.
Our goal is to start this new site off with everything you enjoy at the Sarasota restaurant, but then gradually expand into other novelties and features. One of our top ambitions will be to expand our already impressive wine selections to meet the sophisticated palates of the patrons in our area.
Where to Find Us?
The new Tsunami Sushi location, opening January 20th, is ready to serve you the best chef-prepared sushi at 11627 State Road 70 E., Lakewood Ranch.
Our operation hours will be from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., every day. That makes Tsunami Sushi your go-to place for dining, takeout, or catering for any lunch or dinner all week.

Well, obviously we possess a terrific reputation for authentic Japanese sushi (dozens of varieties), but that’s far from the only selection available. Here’s a quick preview of new and coming attractions for the Lakewood Ranch location.
